Hugo is an educational consultant, specialising in curriculum development, structural change and pastoral systems. Prior to this he was Acting Headteacher at Hackney New School, a mixed ability secondary school focused on music. He has also worked as Vice Principal at Pimlico Academy, a secondary school in Westminster rated outstanding by Ofsted. A Hackney resident for over 15 years, Hugo previously worked at Stoke Newington School; prior to that he had a career in book publishing and design.
