From donated planks pre-Christmas to finished planters. Today our school officially became an orchard in Hackney with 9 fruit trees planted, herbs and raspberry canes in smaller planters. More still to come in the Autumn. The children did a great job helping to plant everything.

Year 3 have been learning about the story of Icarus and how his wings melted when he flew too close to the sun! The challenge was to create new wings, thinking about materials that would be more resilient than wax.
