Community Governor
We are looking for a Community Governor to join our team of Governors, to challenge and support the school as we strive to deliver an outstanding education for our children.
Our Local Governing Body (LGB) is currently made up of 3 community governors plus 1 Trust governor, 2 staff governors and 2 parent governors.
We currently have a vacancy for 1 community governor. Could this be you?
The role of the LGB is to monitor and evaluate the school and to provide a blend of challenge, encouragement and support to ensure that the children have the best education and opportunities available.
Commitments:
A governor’s term of office is 2 years and the LGB formally meets 4 times a year. There are additional subgroups such as the Finance Committee, which meets an additional 4 times a year. Governors are also expected to undertake visits to the school on at least a termly basis.
