What our parents say…

We really value the opinion of our parents and carers, and are always looking for ways to improve our school. Every year we run a survey – read some comments below from the 2022 survey:

  • “My daughter has always loved coming to Halley House; she’s actually really sad that she is leaving to go to secondary school and even suggested that Ms Syms should be like Miss Honey in Matilda and open a secondary school next door.”
  • “The additional extra curriculum activities offsite definitely help my children to learn independence and responsibility.”
  • “The teachers are wonderful and particular teachers are incredibly inspiring and inspire my
children. Where my children have needed support their teachers have always provided that, and
also have worked with me to offer guidance and support on how I can help my children in any
    areas that they struggle in.”
  • “[My children] are always happy to come to school and excited by what they might experience each
    day.”
  • “My daughter loves all the staff, especially the support staff who are always on hand to listen
    and help her.”
  • “The clubs offered supplement learning and development at this age. There is a real breadth of opportunity within the school, including music & arts provision as well as specialist and one off experiences.”
