We will be emailing all those who applied for a 2015 Reception place at Halley House School today to notify them whether their application has been successful. All applicants will also receive a letter from the Headteacher, Claire Syms, in the next couple of days. Families have until 30th April to make their decision and the place offered to you by your local authority will be safe until this date.
The signing of our Funding Agreement means that our offers are unconditional and applicants will be required to choose only one of the schools offered. We will be liaising with the relevant local authorities to ensure that this is the case.
We have received more applications for 2015 than the 60 Reception places available. As parents/carers will have applied for schools other than Halley House School, we anticipate that places are very likely to become available (in common with previous admission rounds for other schools). When further places do become available, we will use our waiting list to make allocations with any further offers made in accordance with our published oversubscription criteria. Families whose applications have been unsuccessful at this initial offer stage will automatically be added to our waiting list.
If anyone you know is not allocated the school of their choice today, please let them know that they can join our waiting list for a 2015 Reception place simply by completing the short Application Form.
