Puss in Boots: The Last Wish Competition – HHS pupil runner up!

Halley House pupils participated in the recent ‘Create The Card’ competition hosted by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), in collaboration with Universal Pictures, to design the official black card for Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. Gina’s design was selected as one of 10 prestigious runners up – from more than 700 entries!

Here’s what the BBFC had to say about Gina’s design:

We received over 700 entries from across the UK and we are thrilled to tell you that after extensive deliberation by a panel of judges, Gina’s design was shortlisted as one of the top ten runners-up entries.

The panel included executives from Universal Pictures and the BBFC, including David Austin OBE (CEO). The judges were hugely impressed by Gina’s artwork and Universal wanted to pass on the below feedback:

“We loved the use of Mama Luna in this design and thought her details (curly hair, necklace, earrings) were wonderful. We loved how the design captured their new friendship and the bright, happy colours used! Incredible talent.”
