Year 2 Trip to the Royal Institution

Today Year 2 entered the world of where ‘science lives’ at the Royal Institution London. We looked at over 200 years worth of inventions from the very early voltameter to  measure electricity to one of the very first flasks invented. We looked at Micheal Faraday’s laboratory which is where he did all his important research. Did you know Michael Faraday also lived in the museum? We did knock on his door but no one answered! We also visited the theatre where he delivered all his lectures.
