Halley Celebrates World Book Day with Readathon
As a school we decided to undertake a ‘Readathon’ throughout the whole of Book Week. The aim was to achieve someone reading throughout the week. This half-term Nursery’s topic is ‘Traditional Tales’ and this week they have been reading The Little Red Hen. Nursery Blasts off to the Moon!
There has been some amazing learning taking place in nursery … They have blasted off in space and discovered glow in the dark stars. Looking at the Moon, the children found out that there are huge holes, called Craters! Look at these amazing picture montages!
